Having met the NAWIC committee to ask what they needed help with last year, we were delighted to sponsor and provide the creation of an integrated communications strategy to help NAWIC Jersey continue to grow. Part of the plan included a creative direct mail campaign which was sent to 52 local contacts who had been to a NAWIC event but had not yet signed up as a member.
The first day of National Women in Construction Week in March all recipients received a brick wrapped in a beautiful purple satin NAWIC branded ribbon suggesting recipients build on their strong foundation with Nawic. The next day they received a trowel….let’s bond together. The third day the received a cement mixer picture suggesting they cement their relationship with NAWIC by joining as a member. The committee took time out of their busy days to hand deliver the campaign to each recipient over the three days. It was also good to work with our friends at Pentagon once again who kindly sponsored the bricks and trowels for this campaign. All recipients were invited to bring their bricks and trowels for a CSR day at Mont a L’Abbe School. This provided a fun event to network with other NAWIC Jersey members and learn more about their work in the Island encouraging, particularly girls to find opportunities in the built environment locally whilst creating a fun water feature for the super students at this wonderful school. The team also brightened up the school play shed with paint kindly supplied by Romerils. It was a pleasure to help NAWIC capture imaginations of busy colleagues in the built environment and suggest the fun CSR day as a finale to this successful campaign.
