Le Masurier have supported this international programme https://designengineerconstruct.com/ for the 2022/23 cohort at Beaulieu Convent School. This innovative programme encourages students to learn more about the cornucopia of career opportunities within the Built Environment.
Kicking off the programme with 105 Year 7’s, a speed networking event was organised and we were thrilled that 14 partners from our supply chain gave up their time to mentor the students in the many different roles construction industry provides. We were also delighted to welcome Mark Jordan to help with the designing and developing of our restaurant in the heart of St Helier, using the input and guidance from our industry professionals, judges were wowed by the creations from these enthusiastic Year 7’s. From floor plans to elevations, branding to menu creation. The course has been a great success and definitely opened eyes to a career in construction to many students.
