We would like congratulate the fantastic team at Caring Cooks of Jersey for partnering with Government of Jersey to launch Flourish, a hot dinner programme rolling out to Primary Schools in Jersey.
With over 1000 local children not receiving a hot meal during the day this pioneering service is currently working in 2 local primary schools feeding hot meals to 700 students at lunchtime.
To support the work of Caring Cooks Le Masurier were delighted to be launch partner with Waitrose to help Caring Cooks create a leading edge fund raising concept Who Gives a Fork.
This will be launched in October and run throughout November and December. With over 70 local restaurants, hotels and cafes already registered, and Radisson Blu agreeing to Give a Fork on not just all food sales but checkout too. We are sure this campaign will create awareness of the vital work of Caring Cooks and raise lots of funds to help them continue to nourish even more of our young islanders.
